Practice identifying the body part terms on various different breeds of rabbits.
Learning the names of each body part is fundamental to your success in rabbits. We use the knowledge with body parts for determining if the rabbit is healthy, has a disease, breeding, showmanship, judging and so much more.

Ears can be upright or lopped on top of a rabbit's head.
There are six recognized eye colors of rabbits.
Rabbits breathe through their nose just like other mammals
Rabbits have 28 teeth. We see four teeth in the front. two incisors on top and two on bottom

Rabbits have five nails on each front foot (four toe nails and a dew claw) and four toenails on each back foot.
The stomach is easier to see when the rabbit is turned on its back like the photo above.
On a later page we will go into more detail on identifying bucks and does at various ages.

The midsection is the middle 1/3 if teg rabbit which incldues the ribcage and loin of the rabbit.
The hindquarter is the rear 1/3 of the rabbit.
